Under the agreement, Port City Web will reserve rack space at Dynamic Internet’s data center and provide Windows 2003 Website and application hosting and Microsoft SQL Server database hosting service and support to Dynamic Internet
Reinforcing their role as a local leader in the industry, Port City Web became the first Portsmouth-based Web Services Provider to announce the offering of Windows 2003 hosting for websites, applications and MS SQL Server. In fact, there are very few Web Services Provider’s within their extended local area, which covers Portland, Maine to Manchester/Nashua, NH to Boston. “Partnering with a local co-location provider has a number of significant advantages,” noted Port City Web President Erik Crago. “Working with Dynamic Internet means we get a highly reliable and redundant network. We also get the kind of personal service that you can’t get with a web farm thousands of miles away. We looked at data center’s in our own backyard, but they couldn’t compete with Dynamic Internet’s Nashua data center.”
